The PROPOSED REMAINDER OF THE FARM LOT S45 NO. 5365 has a total extent of 323 hectares with 230 hectares permitted for timber and is currently planted to eucalyptus of a predominant GXN variety and aged between 1 month and 5 years. There is also pine of a predominant Patula and Elliotti variety aged between 3 and 8 years.
2. THE FARM LOT FP 284 NO. 9262 has a total extent of 147 hectares with 50 hectares permitted for timber. This portion is currently planted to 41 hectares of Eucalyptus with GXN the predominant variety.
Donnybrook is a farming town located in the Harry Gwala District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal. The town is located between Underberg and Ixopo which provides all basic amenities while Pietermaritzburg is the closest major metro. The area is underpinned by a strong agricultural sector with timber, beef, and dairy the predominant agricultural practices. The greater area enjoys an estimated average annual rainfall of 650mm.
