These 3 sites occupy a prime position on either side of the N2 approximately 2 Km from the Hluhluwe Petro Port and ± 13 Km South of the Town of Hluhluwe. The town of Hluhluwe lies in north-eastern KwaZulu-Natal. It is a 2.5-to-3-hour drive north of Durban (300km) on the N2, or 6 to 7 hours travel from Johannesburg. Hluhluwe, situated on the Elephant Coast, is a tourism hub. The area is renowned for its natural diversity, in particular its parks and pristine beaches. The area is home to seven major game reserves, including the world-renowned Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, Mkhuze Game Reserve, Sodwana Bay and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
These sites are accessed via the Bushlands Off Ramp and all 3 sites are positioned at the corner of the off ramp from the N2 and the D123 Road. Portion 4 has an extent of ± 1, 2764 Hectares and is located at the corner of the North bound off Ramp and the D123 Road. Portions 5 and 17 are situated opposite each other along the South bound offramp / On Ramp. Portion 5 has an extent of 1, 0459 Hectares with portion 17 having an extent of 1, 0282 hectares.
