Telkom is unlocking value from its property portfolio by disposing of 60 properties nationwide, including a range of decommissioned telecommunication towers, exchange sites and service hubs.
Driven by rapid digitisation and the shift toward fibre and data centre infrastructure, Telkom is strategically shedding non-core assets while modernising operations and focusing on its core growth platforms.
The portfolio presents unique redevelopment opportunities for investors, developers and infrastructure operators across multiple provinces.
The auction will take place 23 April 2026 and will be live-streamed from the Mount Edgecombe Country Club via the In2assets digital auction platform, enabling both national and international participation.
Portfolio Breakdown
- Eastern Cape – 8 properties
- Free State – 6 properties
- Limpopo – 3 properties
- Gauteng – 10 properties
- KwaZulu-Natal – 15 properties
- Mpumalanga – 6 properties
This landmark disposal forms part of Telkom’s broader national strategy and continues a successful series of property auctions conducted through the In2assets auction platform.
Another batch of similar properties are earmarked for the In2Assets June 2026 auction.
A rare opportunity to acquire strategic infrastructure and redevelopment sites across South Africa.
